or:It's a mix between both of them.Heredity, which is basically what you are naturally/ what you are born with/genes. Height is heredity, and passed down from parents.The environment is external stuff that affects the more permanent heredity. This can be scars (people and animals are rarely born with a scar!), a baby being given too little nutrition/milk might not grow as tall. It's being found that some children who learn maths at an early age, have excellent maths skills later on in life.
