Hi :) I'm writting an essay on the first world war, and more particularly about the trenches. I really want to do this well, but am not sure how to structure it. I'm planning on writting about the fighting itself and how pointless it was (as the lines barely moved), the relation ship between the soldiers and the officers, the food, the cold, illness and alot more.
How should I start this of? What seems the most important? I really don't know, so if any of you could help me I would be very grateful.
Also, I'm sorry for my spelling mistakes, I'm sadly not a native english speaker ...

Thanks and have a ncie day :)

or:I will say that fighting is a bad thing, but the battles of the world war were not pointless. To start off the paper in the first paragraph you should talk about what the world war was and what caused it. Also give a brief description of what you will be discussing. If you are writing about the experiences of the soldiers you should research what it was like to be one. Teachers don't like papers that are only about the fighting. You should mention the big event of the war and tell what it was like for the soldiers. Oh and wen your done make sure to check spelling and grammar for best grade. Hope i helped :)
