or:Hello Kathy2290: In my opinion, yes. You have been with bf for 4 years, that's quite some time. I don't see anything wrong with meeting the children. You didn't mention their age, just make sure you tell them you aren't in any way replacing their mother. It'll be tough at first them getting used to you but they will come around with time. As for the problems between the ex and bf, do not get involved directly. Have bf talk to you about the problems between him and ex, be open minded. If he doesn't want to do not ask him again and leave it alone. Just know ex will ALWAYS be in the picture because she is the mother of his children. Especially if child support is involved.
