or:I'm sorry I am not an expert exactly. But I have smoked tobacco for years before , and now currently do not .I have came to realize that it is extremely bad inhale carbon monoxide. . And not to mention the other additives tobacco companies put in cigarettes . Also if they were outlawed it would not change much but perhaps make it worse.. They once tried to Ban alcohol here in the United States before & it made it worse and introduced more alcohol , crime & other things etc. Smoking a cigarette creates a sensation of feeling a little \"nicotine high\" making your head /body feel more relaxed-example how people get stressed out they smoke a cigarette or on break at work etc. it helps people cope with their day.. But it comes with a price you will be wanting more & more to feel that relief and the body's memory of that feeling .I don't think cigarettes should be outlawed but perhaps PROPER* education about what carbon monoxide is & what smoking cigarettes will actually cause a high % of lung cancer-and giving other people who don't smoke lung cancer from 2nd hand smoke-.. p.s. I'm sorry like I said I am not a expert this is just my opinion on this subject hope it gives you some ideas

or:The US constitution creates a government specifically to \"preserve the blessing of liberty\". Not to regulate every detail of every citizen's life. It's true: smoking tobacco is unhealthy. But that does not mean that it should be made a felony. People give lip service to freedom until somebody does something actually free. Then they start saying \"Uh oh, we gotta put a stop to that!\" In the USA we have a convenient way to do that: we make a law. The same is true in every nation that ever existed: the people demanded more and more restrictions on each other until it became physically impossible to support the regime, and then it collapsed or got conquered in war. Not one nation ever avoided the collapse. Some have collapsed several times.
