Try to make this brief as long answers reduce chance of reply or ppl having time to read.
About 15 years ago, I had group of friends, some of who I was closer to and others who were really friends of their friends (if makes sense). I lived with 4 of them for about 1 year, then travelled and came back realising didn't have much in common with most of the 4 lived with.
Anyway, still saw them occasionally and one day I went there to visit and they wouldn't let me in the door. One accused me of taking a camera and a car the previous day, while they were at a music festival that I didn't goto. This was despite the fact that the car was manual (stick?) which I can't drive. The story was not clear and the details of accusations were not consistent, e.g. the person who owned the car and the camera never actually accused me directly, which is unusual I think.
At the time I was really angry that first, I was accused of something I didn't do and second, the disrespect about a friendship that had been there a long time.
Question is would you forgive those who had done something like this. I don't think I'm a vengeful or inflexible person, but it is a matter of respect and respect for yourself when you have not done anything wrong.
