Found an old rotted banana in my bag and the bag was infested(!!) with larvae - What to do! Barf?
The bag was under my desk and i have a pile of clean clothes scattered on top of my desk. I took the bag out on the patio and left it there overnight
The bag was under my desk and i have a pile of clean clothes scattered on top of my desk. I took the bag out on the patio and left it there overnight and I threw out the banana into the garden (I discovered this at midnight, I'm a student and I didn't want to wake my parents). I have rinsed the bag in the garden and then sanitized it, threw all makeup that was in the bag. Wiped down my floor with sanitizer and I'm contemplating washing all the three loads of clean clothes again. My question is : Is there any chance these fruit fly maggots pose a risk to the inside of our house, the wooden patio or my clothes/bed linens or any other contents of my bedroom? Thanks so much
