I'm working on a science project and would like to know: If I were to put some Glo Germ(TM) powder in a toothbrush, for example, and use ultraviolet germicidal irradiation on it, would the simulated germs be cleansed by it? In other words, would this product work to prove the effectiveness of a UV-C sanitizer, or is it only washed off by soap and water? If not, is there a way to simulate or test for bacteria without the use of a petri dish?
