Going to be best friend funeral?
My bf amd i have been together for 7 months now and just recently his best friend past away which just happens to be his ex gf of 4 years brother. I
My bf amd i have been together for 7 months now and just recently his best friend past away which just happens to be his ex gf of 4 years brother. I want to go and support him from he has been very emotional about the whole experance. But his friends and himself seems to tell him I shouldn't go. They all think it would be weird from i would know no one there. Which really upsets me from my grandma just past away in Nov of this year and wanted my bf to go but he couldn't take time off since I had to fly 6 hrs away to be there for my family (which he has met before). Then he told me today that he didn't even wanted to go...idk if he is saying that from how everything is now or what. But what should I Do? I want to go and be there with him and yes I'm a little jealous that few of his ex's will be there too but I don't want him to hate me cause of this....

or:You tell BF you are sorry about the grief he is experiencing and that you want to be there for him and you'd like to go to the funeral with him if he wants you to.You give him the option and you accept his decision. If you go you make no comments at all about any ex. If you don't go you tell him to come over after the funeral is over and you'll have a quiet evening at home so he can just unwind after the stress of the day.
