... husbands friend via texting. he lives far away, about 4hrs away from where i live. i told him i liked him, and he said he likes me to. he has recently broken up with a girl that cheated on him. anyway, for the last 3 weeks weve only spoken twice over the phone, rest of the time is texting. now i want him to be interested and stay interested. i dont want to come accross as needy or boring. we've had a few flirty conversations and pictures etc. but ive heard that girls should never be the first one to text or phone. why? how will the guy know you like him as much if you always wait on him to do everything? i send a message every morning saying morning and enjoy your day, and during the day ill send one that just says thinking of you, and at night ill send one asking how his day was...is that to much? he does answer, but during the day in short to the point answers and at night he will chat for a bit and then its finished. must i back off a bit. im scared if i do that he will forget about me...i really really like this guy. how can i keep him interested? its hard when all you have is texting for communication. am i chasing something thats never going to happen? please give me advise. we suppose to see each other soon. well i hope we can, it depends on his family. the other thing is, if ever we have to take this further, we will have lots of hurdles to get over. with him being my late husbands friend, and me having 3 kids (he said he had no problem with) but ya there will be issues. however i am ready to take them all on. i like him that much

or:well they say that texting a guy first kinda sends that you are interested and what your interests are toward him i would let him text you one of those times like you do twice let him do one this should tell him your interested and stay that way you have to see if he'll text once this way your giving him a chance to chime in and i really think you can keep him interested in the communication and has a chance to go beyond
