... and we are not sure what it was. I have two puppies now that have been on milk replacer for the past 4 days but i feel like theyre not getting enough nutrients. The mother seems to be fine she active and eating well but 4 of her nipples are a deep purple color and so is the rest of her 4 breasts. should i be worried? could the milk be toxic, should i feed the pups from her or not? there are no vets available in my area at the moment so this is really important!!!!

or:you should get some of the moms milk they have all you really do is have you might be able to call a pet shop but they do sell mothers milk. You might be able to call a vet thats close to you the colstrum is the milk you need it sounds like her teats got injured some how mabe preasure.
