Google - How can a doctor determine if a tumour is benign or malignant by looking at a MRI?

There was a tumor detected around my left hip during a X-Ray. They sent me to get a MRI. Im just curious on how they can tell if its cancerous or not

or:if there is more then one if it has any mutiant cells found in it aggressive cancer will spread sometimes fast they look to see if there are any feelers reaching out genetics to have alot to do with the cell structure wether you have a family issue where its in your genes this how they catch them and compare them to other growths in the body

or:They can usually tell by the shape of the tumor. If it is roundish, slow growing and capsulated, then it is usually a benign tumor. If it is abnormally shaped and fast growing, it may be cancerous. ( I had a benign meningioma removed in November 2014) scary stuff.
