or:Barley is used for lowering bloodsugar,blood preasure,and cholesterol and promoting weight loss its used digestive complaint's including diarrhea stomach pain also used as a natural sweetener it slows stomach emptying results could help in weight loss. So I'm thinking that it might be good for a natural sweetener for diabetics
