... of weight and get generally more fit, but so many workouts and exercises are not realistic for me. I've had lower back surgery and about a year later got into a car accident that left me with 2 new bulging discs in top of my surgery. I really want to start exercising more but I need examples of exercises that don't including bending at the waist, hug impact, or stress on the lower back. Running, sit ups and crunches are already out of the question per my doctor. Any help?

or:You need your doctor to send you to someone who will supervise your exercise according to his instructions. You certainly don't need advice from strangers on the internet.

or:It's best to make an appointment with a physical therapist, they will be able to guide you through an exercise routine and help you perform the exercises properly. Once you feel better, you can possibly continue what you have learned by yourself. Good luck.
