... the hospital the whole time trying to recover from a surgery that removed the tumor. during the process she entered and left the Intensive Care Unit 4 times and got several surgeries. there were many times my mom wanted to end her life, but my dad and i persuaded her not to. i wouldn't have been able to go through this without my best guy friend. he talked to me everyday about random things but they made me smile and made my day more bearable. and also he's not the type who would be willing to open up to everyone, but because he opened up to me, i know him better than anyone else. but something happened in the summer, i think we both messed up and ruined our chance to be in a relationship together. so he suggested that we start over as friends. now, i sometimes envision what it'll be like if we were together. i'd be more happy, but i dunno. we still hang out whenever i ask him if he wanted to. do i still have a second chance with him? or should i just try to move on?
