I strongly suggest reading the customer reviews, they're usually detailed and honest reviews. The dell inspiron is a good laptop for games like chess titans and bejeweled. but if you want to play games like Call Of Duty, Crysis or Flight Simulator X, you are going to need at least a duo core to play those games the way you want to.if you are willing to invest in a good computer that is a bit more expensive I'd suggest the Sony Vaio Series SVE17137CXB 17.3 inch laptop costing you $999.99 also on Amazon.com. the price tag and the 2 hour battery life are the only real cons I can see with this choice. other than that it looks like a great gaming laptop.Again I would read the customer reviews with whatever computer you are thinking about buying.
