Had a after market radio put in my 2012 chevy 1500 z71. Now the anti theft is active and won't crank

I hooked my code reader to it and tried to erase the codes an that did nothing. I've also used my spear keys and tried to reset my passcode by turning the ignition on and off for 30min like you're supposed to do. Right now I have the positive wire off of my battery for the last 24hrs trying to drain all power from my trucks brain. Anyone have any other ideas if it still won't work,
