I had an asthma attack at brought on by teatree oil which everyone knows at work that I'm allergic to. And I was made to feel like it was my fault and that I was an inconvenience. I went to take allergy medication and to use nebulizer. The first aid officer laughed at me struggling. Then helped and left. A relief got the director who looked annoyed and acted angrily as she called an ambulance. She asked if I wanted her to call emergency contact. I said yes. But she didn't even bother to call. I have tomorrow off but don't really want to go back there as I know I will either be introuble or totally ignored and judged

or:You need the job, the money? Suck it up.Will you be judged? Absolutely, for maybe half a day till they've got something new to gossip about. Will there be reprisal for what went down? Absolutely not, unless your bosses fancy losing a large chunk of cash and reputation. Everybody's got medical conditions and it's the employer's responsibility to ensure safe working conditions, regardless of personal opinion.
