i asked a question a while ago about what to do with my father because he was basically ruining my life and i got.. leave him an move on, ignore him and so on i tried moving on but i still love his somewhere in my heart i have no idea where but i just do, i also have a half brother and sister and i can only see them if i see him that was another reason not to leave him because i cant get my bro and sis mums number. my aunt (his sister) is trying to help me but i need to know what to do should i leave him? would i be leaving my bro and sis forever? i need help and ASAP.... im 12 btw and met him in feburary

Its normal enough that a father tries to run your life, as its his job to use his greater experience to look out for you and try and avoid you running into big problems. Of course, he may have been doing that in an over heavy-handed way. You have a blood tie to your ftaher and, as they say, blood is thicker than water, so it will always exist. If its possible, you need to establish a dialogue with him, by email, for example, where he cannot readily hassle you without getting blocked. Explain to him that it would be nice to see him and your half brother and sister, but him totally running your life is simply not acceptable, though you would like to benefit from his advice. You need to establish a doialogue of understanding and not one of confrontation of its your fault type thing. I'rm sure he feels the same tie you do. Its a question of working something out that both would find acceptable. One you have confidence in that, then you can move more to direct contact on occasion.
