or:This may be a bit late but i would start with finding a manga/comic/show that has a nice art style that you like. Then draw it. Soon you d find more styles that you like . Create new things using those styles and eventually you will have your own unique style. Then go from there. So, the best way to start is , as much as I hate to admit, copying. If your already expired in art I find that it doesn't take long to transition to another style. If this is your first try then it should take a month or two.
