When we returned after 2 weeks the temperature in the house was 45 degrees and after a few days the leaves of the coffee tree dried up and fell off (a neighbor watered the plants while we were gone). The stalks still seem to be alive; when I scrape with my fingernail they are green underneath and have a pleasant smell. Is there anything I can do to help them grow more leaves?
