How can I influence my mom to let me get a pet rat?

I really want a pet rat I already have enough money for the cage food and treats and stuff. But my mom says our dogs will eat it!!!! I dont think so b

I really want a pet rat I already have enough money for the cage food and treats and stuff. But my mom says our dogs will eat it!!!! I don't think so but they are labs. I have a pretty big space in my bedroom closet but she is still saying no.

or:You can conduct research ( Google) on the benefits of having a pet rat if you can show her that the benefits outweigh the problems, and maybe pay for it ( works for me at least) there will be no reason for her to say no. GOOD LUCK

or:What YOU need to do is become obsessed with rats. Buy posters, print out cute rat pics, gaze longingly into cages full of the sweeties in the pet stores. That's what I did, and MY rat (Kimby) is snoozing in a cute heap in her cage upstairs as I write this.Also, if you get a rat, get one from the litter of 25 which are available in the Lilac Mall at Pet Paradise. If they aren't sold in one month, they'll be sold as snake food! :(

or:Keep it in your bedroom and don't let the dogs in the room, or u could let the dogs get used to the rat whilst the rats in its cage, and once the dogs are used to that u can hold the rat around them. You just have to make sure the dogs know that the rat is a pet and not a toy. Don't know if this was helpful
