or:Hi!I am also very shy, and I started in a new school for like a year ago. The best thing you can do, is walk up to somebody and start talking to them. Talk to them about whatever you'd like to, and then after a while ( a few weeks/days) ask them if he/she would do something fun, like visit you, or go for picnic or the cinemas or whatever he/she would like to do. Find somebody who have the same interests like you. I'm sure there are somebody out there who's just as shy as you are! :) Good luck finding new friends!
