How can I prevent people from using my drumkit?

I have a drum kit and when we have guests over and Im in my room, my mother lets people use it without my permission after Ive specifically asked for

I have a drum kit and when we have guests over and I'm in my room, my mother lets people use it without my permission after I've specifically asked for them not to. Ive put a sign on the kit saying 'DO NOT TOUCH' which just encourages them more. How can i stop this?

or:well you could put it in your room this will keep people from putting their hands on it and using it its bad you have to resort to that but if its getting the message across thats good its to bad that they won't listen moms probably just being delightful or trying to be a good hostess so just take it out of moms hands and putting it away
