or:Strait of Internet websites- ur old iPod may not meet quality standards. Or you need a cord to connect to a computer or similar device, then u may be able To transfer songs.

or:Your new iPod might have less memory than the older one. This seems crazy, but the new software updates need more memory than the older ones.
