How do I get my 2.4g wireless mouse to work?

So when i go and look in my devices it shows a 2.4Gz mouse, but when I go to add a device (bluetooth) and press the button on my mouse to connect it s

So when i go and look in my devices it show's a 2.4Gz mouse, but when I go to add a device (bluetooth) and press the button on my mouse to connect it show's up a device called "mous". This device in the actual devices menu though is grayed out and i can't do anything about it. I want to also know why my mouse is different (i think) than the 2.4Gz mouse in the devices menu
