or:This is kind of funny because Rotties usually gain weight with no problem. Mix in healthy house food. meats and carbs such as potatoes and noodles, in with hard dog food and a quarter of canned food. do this in the morning and at night. leave hard food out for them all day long. and the dog does need exercise!!! becauseee Rotties are prown to hip displasia soo the exercise is essential! Do not let the dog get too obese. Also a raw egg like every other day is good for the coat. keeps it shiny. and a touch of garlic in there food everyday gets in there blood stream and helps keep the fleas off them.
