How do I get out of this detention?

I lied and said that a teacher held me back from class and that was why i was late and he asked the teacher if he did and he told him no and now I mig

I lied and said that a teacher held me back from class and that was why i was late and he asked the teacher if he did and he told him no and now I might get in trouble tomorrow and that teacher that "supposedly" held me back from class is mad at me right now and how do i make him stop being mad and how do i get the other teacher not to give me a detention when he asks about it tomorrow?
