There is a guy that I have talked to a few times over the past few times and I kinda have a crush on him. Now we're in high school and I never see him at all. Homecoming is in a little less than two weeks and I really want to got with a date. I don't think he really knows who I am so I want to get to know him, but is it ok for me to ask him out on a date and maybe ask him to homecoming if I don't think he will ask me?

or:everything depends in this case. so the first thing you need to do is find out if he already has a date. if he doesnt, then you need to try to get to know him, fast!then if you think its time go ahead and ask him. if you dont think he likes you like that though, then you could ask to go as friends. your best chance is to go as friends. if he does have a date, then you could always go find another boy that might even like you back. = )
