How do I preserve the overall battery life for my chromebook?

or:One of the worst thing you can do is use your device while it charges. Try to routinely turn it off when not needed and while charging. I find that whenever I buy an electronic device if I charge it to 100% before using it right out if the box it makes for a overall better battery life.
