How does a block schedule work?

or:You will just have fewer classes but each class is longer in duration- for example instead of having English for 50 min then Maths for 50 min then something else for 50 min you\u2019ll just have English for 90 min (possibly with a short break in between) and then maybe Maths for 90 or 120 min or so. Blocks will offer more concentrated experiences for the students. Instead of the classes being spread throughout the week you\u2019ll just get blocks of the same class in a row.
