How does a person tell the difference between Love & Infatuation?

I've been in this situation for a while,and this question crosses my mind alot.People say that since we aren't in our 20's,it's probably not love and just a crush or infatuation but I disagree because I believe that love can occur at anytime,any place and any age.
This question is a question which is the most difficult for me,I like solving my own problems but this once I need some one else's help.I was hoping some one experienced could give sensible advice.

or:i give you a simple explanation but it doesn't mean its hundred percent right. If you love a person think of a reason why you love him if you can give a hundreds of reason or even just one reason why you love that person then what you feel is not love. Because when you truly love a person there is no reason you love him or her as whole
