I am studying microbiology in the country outside in Asia.
I was interested in going to a medical university in Russia and found out I should take an entry exam. I looked though the list of subjects that would be tested, and since I wanted to enter a medical university, chemistry and Russian were those.
Russian is, well, Russian. Chemistry, on the other hand, got me confused.
General Chemistry
Organic Chemistry
Inorganic Chemistry
Three above were the specifics of 'chemistry', and I know for certain that high school students do not learn those. I thought the entry exam was basically for anyone who graduated high schools and even those who major in biology do not learn inorganic chemistry unless one takes the course by oneself.

I would like to know if those three are indeed the same subject that is taught in the university and if I would have to study those
or chemistry that we learn in high school was just specifically described and divided into three major groups.

Moreover, if any one could tell me, I would like to know what level of Russian is required of the student if the courses one's taking is Russian/English medium.
