8th grade girl. Awkward around guys bc I feel like I cant relate to guys. Some of my friemds hang with guys and go to the movies w them.in my grade, we are inbetween real dating and 5th grade dating. I feel like since I'm not invited to these "hang outs". in 6th grade I dated a guy for a week then broke up with him. Then in 7th grade I dated a guy for a day. I think guys are scared to be friends with me. They don't talk about me: Bad or good. It's weird because I'm pretty "popular". the only guys that talk to me are annoying. All I want are some guy friends. Amy advice?

or:hey, i'm in your year level too and this situation is exactly the same for my school. the number one thing i'd say to do is simple- start a conversation. I don't mean go up to them at school and say what's up, I mean comment on an Instagram photo or if they want people to text them, text them! seriously, I learnt the hard way. if you don't do anything about it, you'll stay exactly as you are. start small, and be friendly but not too obsessive. hope I helped! x

or:Being a guy myself, there seems to be 1 simple solution. DONT. That probably sounds crap but just hear me out. Alot of the girls I am friends with are either in my class, I have known them for years or have had an event happen that made us friends. And as for the annoying guys... just tell em they're annoying. Im told that every day and it doesnt bother me. And im in fifth grade. If I can deal with it then some guys 3 years older than me should be able to too. Anyway, hope this helps!
