Husband died and wife was not notified by Hospital or Funeral Home?

My Husband Past away on Dec 29 ,2012. We were married for over 20+ yrs. And up until 2010 were separated. We were still legally married and had no paperwork in the courts regarding our break. He died Dec 29, 2013 of Pneumonia in Wilmington Hospital, Delaware. No one ever bothered to try and call or contact me his legal wife. His mother burried him and done all his paper work to bury him. She told the Funeral director She didn't know how to notify me or Didn't know where I lived. However we just talked a few months back ,and she had my phone number. And I live at the same address My husband and I have a House in both our names. A residence she would visit frequently. And My husbands Son also lived less then 1 mile away from my home. Yet no one bothered to notify me of his death. Also. When questioned weather my husband was married. His Mother tried to denie he was. But did specify on the Death Certificate he was married. Thats when she claimed to nopt know how to find me . Though she helped us purchase our home together. She knew our home and even had a lean against our house. So she can't deny/ she knew where I lived or how to find me . I just found out about my husbands death on February 09 , 2013. What legal options do I have for his family to be so cold and not tell me my husband of 20+ yrs has died. She didn't even include me in his obituary. How cold and evil of a person would do this .And what laws were broken for then to not contact me. Was the Hospital at fault to find me as his legal wife. Did the funeral Director hve a legal responsibility to find me as his legal wife. Now upon further investigation into my husbands death . I learned the Mother who, purposely left me out of his funeral also died on January 28, 2013 Less then one month later. Who should I contact and what can I do . It just seems something very illegal regarding this has occured and I don't know where to start ? I have lived at the same legal residence my husband I I have shared since 2004. So no one can deny. They not to find me . Is this a legal matter ?
