I accidentally deleted my Google doc. How do I fix it?

I searched the internet on how to fix it since Id accidentally deleted my entire story but all it told me was stuff I already know like hit the undo b

I searched the internet on how to fix it since I'd accidentally deleted my entire story but all it told me was stuff I already know like hit the undo button or restore a previous version and even to check my browser history. None of this worked and I'm really desperate to fix my doc so I can keep working on it.

or:Alright so go to Google Drive. Not Google Docs, Google Drive. On the left side of the screen you should see different places you can go, for example \"My Drive,\" \"Shared with me,\" \"Recent,\" and \"Starred.\" Below \"Starred\" is \"Trash.\" Click on Trash, and you can see everything you've ever deleted. Double click your google doc to open it, then wait for a message to pop up that should give you the option to take the file out of trash. Click \"Take out of trash,\" and voila, your doc is no longer in trash. (If you have deleted your docs by going into Trash and pressing \"delete forever,\" then you have deleted your docs forever. However I don't believe you have, so you should be able to get it back.)
