or:Hi Nathan,No it is not.I didn't start programming until I was at University (19 yo) and have been programming for many years since. For me you will be a good programmer if you think a certain way. You need to be very logical and understand the order of things and then be able to translate that into a system computers can understand.Once you get the basics down the syntax of a programming language becomes much less important. Knowing the way loops and conditions work, how data can be stored and retrieved etc is much more important.Good luck!

or:First, you don't have an IQ of 160, that's the same as Stephen Hawking and Paul Allen, secondly no, it is not too late to learn programming, it is never too late to learn anything. Thirdly, you may be a few years behind but with a bit of effort you should easily be able to catch up.

or:You're never too old to learn how to program. Seniors can learn how to program.Programming is all about problem-solving. You need to develop your analytical, creative, and logical skills to solve programming problems. This can only be done through extensive practice writing software. The more you practice, the better you'll become. This practice could take years, so you'll have to be patient. It's sort of like learning to play the piano.I always advise beginners to start with a good teaching language. Don't start with an industrial language like Java, Python, JavaScript, and C++. Industrial languages carry baggage that can hinder and confuse a beginner. The best and ideal teaching language is Smalltalk. It's supremely simple and easy to learn, even more so than Python. This language has all of 6 reserved words. The complete syntax fits on a post card!
