I am a skinny guy, fast metabolism, but I want bigger muscles. My arms and legs are too skinny. Help

I can get myself abs and I can get my biceps to show just a bit but I dont want the super skinny arms. I want muscle mass I dont to be a bigger person

or:Hey!As a sprinter (and cross country runner), gaining and building muscle mass was stressed. I can only really base these tips on past experience.First of all, the weight training coach would have us in the weight lifting room three times a week (Mon, Wed, and Fri). Eating protein and even having an intake of whey after a workout will help your body build muscles. I do want to point out that some people, even after building muscle for a long period of time, don't always have \"visible\" muscles. I am one of those people, so even after lifting I can just barely see the muscle I've gained. Of course I'm stronger and able to lift or hold heavier weights, it's just that those muscles can't be seen as well (I hope that makes sense).Long distance running really helped my leg muscles. Especially cross country. It helps the calves and thighs a lot. Alright, arm muscles! Yikes... Okay, so I would often do bench presses (with barbells or dumbbells), pull ups, hang cleans, and yes, chin ups as well. There are also a lot of other upper body workouts that you can find on the internet.Before running in cross country I did do a few months of softball conditioning as well. A lot of upper body was used in push ups, burpees, and planks. We also used medicine balls and other smaller weights (usually dumbbells).
