I have been researching as much information as possible, but I was wondering if you can give me more of the answers to what I am looking for. It is a sensitive topic. After I am married I want to have kids. I would love for them to be baptised, but out of respect for the Muslim religion, I do not think it would be a fair thing to do. I know that if I do not baptise them my marriage is invalid in the Catholic church. If I do baptise the children, I force my future husband's religion to be invalid. Is there another way to be cautious and respectful of both religions?

or:It is a tough subject, but I only see issues from things of this nature. You have to think about the conflicts of beliefs with both religions. I believe both partners should be strong together in the same faith. That is truly what makes a marriage work, when both partners are strong in their faith then the relationship between them will be stronger. Also, if you have children are you going to be ok with your kids believing a different way? And vice versa. The fact you are questioning it should show you that it could be an issue. Talk to your partner and dicuss the subject together and get a feel of what he will support. Good Luck, I wish you the best.
