I am going to fly to Long Beach from Seattle?

My question What would you do? Should I drive that day to the airport and pay for parking or should I drive the day before and pay for a hotel, a few days are included for parking and then pay the rest the cost would be about $60 - $80 more. It is 2 1/2 hours to drive there. Then there is the border and rush hour. The flight leaves at 11:30 am

or:well i think i would drive to the airport pay for the parking fly to long beach unless you are wanting a little down time you could drive the day before get a hotel and enjoy your time driving and seeing some nature and mabe just having a meal and just enjoy your self unless your in a hurry you could fly there but sense you have rush hour and the border i would avoid the traffic and fly there

or:This is kind of tough love, but flying that short a distance is not a good idea. I suggest you get up nice and early and drive there if you need to be there in the morning.Its not fun, but it will get you there. I just took a 6 hour drive from PA to NH and had to get up at 3:00 AM to get there. I hope your situation is not this extreme, but if it is, bring your buddy, whether that be a can of coke or an actual friend.It would be a long day, but definitely go by car. There are quite a few variables when flying.Of course you could always just sleep in your car if you are driving by yourself. Just remember to bring your favorite pillow and blanket!Good Luck!
