I am purchasing a house I gave my realitor my 2,000 earnest money to take to the seller's lawyer?

... last Friday which was the last day to have it in and the day we agreed that I would take it to her, I get a call today saying I either pay 5,000 more or I will loose the house because the realitor did not make it into the office in time before they closed so wouldn't the realitor be at fault?
