i am using Dell n series inspiron laptop.Recently my laptop touchpad is not working as usal.After open the windows i need press any key then the touch

i am using Dell n series inspiron laptop.Recently my laptop touchpad is not working as usal.After open the windows i need press any key then the touchpad works otherwise not.I nedd a proper solution for this.
