Broke up with my ex over a year ago, at the time of being together i brought Him a gsxr1000 k6 phantom super bike.i paid roughly £5000 I still have record of the payment coming out of my account, he has not given me any money for the bike which doesn't surprise me as he doesn't even pay for child support. just want to know if there is any chances of me getting the bike back. His name is on the log book but surely there is some way of me getting the bike, maybe if I go to solicitors? HELP please the money from the bike would be very bery handy!

or:There is no way you can get the bike back. It was a gift so he is under no obligation to make any repayment and as a gift it is his legal property. If you can prove that it was not intended as a gift then you may be able to make a claim against him but after all this time that is highly unlikely. I'm sorry to say that there is no legal way way for you to get any money off him that way. However if he is not making child support payments as a legal obligation then you can take him to court for that and that is the course you should be taking up with your solicitor. good luck!
