I feel bad about my teen step daughter help?
I feel really bad because I I recently punished my step daughter by cutting her hair because she didnt get a good mark in math she got a 62 however sh
I feel really bad because I I recently punished my step daughter by cutting her hair because she didn't get a good mark in math she got a 62 however she did get 80 or more in all her other classes and she made the honor roll. With 3 marks in the 90's and 4 in the 80's when I asked about why she got a 62 she said she tried her best but she got confussed on her exam whitch is 30 percent of her grade I knew she could have done beter but she said she did her best so I told her. I thought she could hve done beter so one day I suggested We should go to a salon she wanted to get the split ends cut off her hair so I told the lady to take 6 inches off her hair. When my step daughter wasent looking she could not see what was happening because there was no mirrior since she was geting a manicure at the same time before the cut it was to the bottom of her cheast but when the lady was done it was above her cheast when she saw herself in the mirror she immediantly started crying and yelling all the way home she wold not speak to me and when we got home she went to her room to cry I told her she was over reacting and its only hair but she said it was not fair of me to cut her hair because of one bad mark was this a good punishment ? I am her new step mom I know from her father that she has no friends she never had a bf . Was this wrong of me I feel bad what can I do to help her hair grow back. Was this mean

or:She made honor roll! In my opinion you shouldn't have cut off her hair because of one test. Just help her next time on studying or homework.
or:Cutting her hair off is probably not the best solution...perhaps next time just encourage her to do better and help her if you can.
