I had USPS vacant notice card in my apt. mailbox while I had mail sent to me from USCIS. What will?

Didn't check my mailbox after moving into my apartment to see that there was a USPS vacant notice card in there stating to put my name and address on for mail to be delivered to the mailbox. I only just opened my mailbox today July 16 as I received an email dated July 12 from USCIS saying they sent me mail on July 7 and July 11. What do I do now? Will USPS still have the mail? Should I contact USPS or USCIS?
