Is it really beneficial to buy an aftermarket catted H or just buying high flow cats and replacing the stock cats.Not unless you have other upgrades to go along with that larger aftermarket exhaust.On my Mustang, when she was basically stock, I installed an off road H pipe and a larger 2.5\u201d mandrel bent exhaust system.I didn\u2019t see any improvement in my \u00bc mile times. Not even a 1/10 second of improvement, or 1/100 either.The stock exhaust isn\u2019t as restrictive as you think.
