However, I don't want to lose my followers on my 1st account. I want to maintain them on the 2nd account. Any suggestions?

or:You\u2019re unable to transfer followers of any kind on instagram, buyback you do have some options. 1. You can delete all the photos and content etc from the first account, change the name and username and start the account anew. Or 2. You can post a photo on the first account, that it will be inactive from here on out and that if they want to continue seeing your content, they can follow your new account :) Hope this helped.
