I have a hamster who is curled up into a ball, is cold, but isn't stiff! Is it dead or in a torpor?

or:Hamsters will do this from time if there has been a noticeable temperature change. Do not worry! Try and regulate the temperature, but if that doesn't work then your hamster may be dead.
