If a novel is similar in concept to a reality TV show, does the author of the novel infringe the show's copyright? Please be noted that:-

1.)Both the novel and the show are about the first humans landing on the moon, but in the novel the main character is not Neil Armstrong or any real person involved in the Apollo mission.
2.)Some technical information and facts may not be accurate. For example, the rocket used to launch the astronauts to space was Saturn V, but in the novel it is a completely different one.
3.)The book consists events that are not present in the show. For example, in the novel the crew found life on the moon, but as we know there is actually no life there.
4.)The reality TV show had acquired copyrights while the author was in progress of completing the novel.

So, does the novel violate the show's copyright because they share the same concept--about sending humans to the moon?

Thank you for your answer.

or:You can not copyright a plot, a title, or a headline. Copyright only forbids copying, not details of the story.

or:If it is almost word for word, then it is copyright, but then it could be called a fan fiction, if it only have the same idea, then it is just fine.
