I have a question im working at McDonald's. And i just got promoted to for a managers position but i dont wanna do it anymore but the thing is ive already done with my smx classes but im not certified yet..sooo before it's toooooo late can i just go ahead and talk to my GM and tell her tgat i can't do it anymore? Is it possible to do that because seriously i don't want the position abymore becuz ive seen way tooo much...thanks

or:depends very much on the employment culture in your country. anyway, I suggest that you keep the real reason for yourself. I would invoke either 'personal reasons' with no other details or just say that you realized that the new position requires much more effort and time which divert your focus from your studies - anyone should be able to accept that for a young person studies come first.
