I have an ipod that is not charging. Is it my charger or ipod thats messed up?

My ipod is not charging. When i plug the charger into my ipod it wont charge. Sometimes it will say "charging not supported with this accessory." Does

or:you can ask a friend if you can try their charger. then you'll know whether it is your charger or ipod

or:It is probably your IPod charger that is broken.once my IPod charger was broken.is the wire showing.if you get another charger and it doesn't work it is probably your iPod that is not charging.if it doesn't charge go to the apple store where you got it from and it would be good if you have a warrantee on your IPod.Hope this helps

or:well if your not sure if its your ipod or your charging is not working try getting or borrowing a new charger that surely works if it works on your ipod the problem probably is within your charger then if still not work then it is with your ipod
